Kirk Meeks offers a DIY kit to convert your Syncro transmission nose cone into a decoupler. He can be contacted here...although the web site leaves a lot to be desired.
Leon Korkin, of Torrence, CA (who also does Subaru engine conversions) has converted several nose cones into decouplers using this kit. Perhaps he will report on the process.
