Syncro.Org Springs

I had a set of these springs installed in 2000.  At the same time I also installed a

set of OME shocks and larger S.African 15" "Rhein" style alloy wheels with Michelin LTX tires.  After the installation of these items,  I found the van to be incredibly more stable in crosswinds on the freeway.  Also the van tracks much better and generally  feels much more firmly planted.  Overall, the handling was very much improved.  Unfortunately, I can't tell exactly which improvements  can be attributed, individually, to each of the components.

For Hwy driving, I give the whole above combination a strong recommendation.   I will say, however, that, when offroading,....rock crawling...to be specific, I find the springs to be quite firm and I with the offroad experience I now have,  I might have liked to try first the better tires (BFGs next time) and shocks but with the stock springs for more compliance and softer impact when I hit those rocks and bumps.

I guess, in hindsight, I'd suggest one suspension upgrade at the time,....then live with that one for a while so you can see how each individual component works with your Syncro and how/where you want to drive it. (Warren Chapman)
