VanagonWiki on CD
From VanagonWiki
When I first started investigating the possiblity of a VanagonWiki, I had only two hard requirements: it must have a real editor, and it must be easily dumped to static HTML so the information therein could be accessed on laptop from the side of the road when the engine has died, the wolves are howling, the kids are screaming, and internet access is completely out of the question.
Currently there is no static dump of the VanagonWiki. Sudhir, our technical genius, is working on figuring out the script for the dump while Mr Squirrel and I egg him on. Hopefully we'll have it running by the time this wiki actually becomes useful.

In the meantime, If anyone needs a wiki-to-go, HTTrack is an open source website copier with Windows and Linux/BSD versions.
It allows you to download a World Wide Web site from the Internet to a local directory, building recursively all directories, getting HTML, images, and other files from the server to your computer. HTTrack arranges the original site's relative link-structure. Simply open a page of the "mirrored" website in your browser, and you can browse the site from link to link, as if you were viewing it online. HTTrack can also update an existing mirrored site, and resume interrupted downloads. HTTrack is fully configurable, and has an integrated help system.
I have tested it on this wiki. The site update feature can keep your local copy current.
